Breakfast, dinner and Cake!

Always a vital part of a sleepover is breakfast!!! This breakfast included Pancakes, Bacon, and sausage

Here's a nice picture of my plate. That would be maple syrup on the pancake that hasn't been spread yet. I have to admit the food look a bit plain, could've used an egg or something to balance our the colors.

Saturday Night, Erika and I went to New Fortune at Walnut Hill Shopping Center off of 355. It's a pretty common place for us to go, especially when craving soup. Erika chose Wonton Noodle Soup. Her noodles are the flat egg noodles I think.

I on the other hand, got Wonton Noodle Soup with the mein noodles.

And no soup dinner if complete without some vegetables. This veggie is Dow Mil...or Sautéed Snow Pea Pod Shoots. Very delicious, one of my family's veggie favorites...but on the slightly more expensive side.

Over all, This dinner was delicious, When I want a simple meal, wonton noodle soup and some veggies are perfect. It was just Erika and me, and New Fortune is awesome enough that they give you dessert afterwards too, but I forgot to take a picture. It was Sweet Tofu. All in all, the meal cost us about $26 for 2 people.
~~~
On Sunday around Midnight, Erika made a cake for Cindy's Mom's Birthday. it was Erika's birthday present to her. My birthday present was showing up.
This cake was a double layer cupcake mix cake with whipcream, pineapples and grapes in between the layers. The outside was Whipcream, with roasted almod shavings around the sides, Strawberries and grapes on top with coconut on the top.
LET ME REPEAT, THIS IS A HOMEMADE CAKE!
NOT STORE BOUGHT!!! I didn't do it...Erika did it.
Frozen yogurt and Pre-Thanksgiving Feast
CaliYogurt
This place is awesome. A little expensive, but really great. On Friday, I went to eat Frozen Yogurt at Caliyogurt, my favorite pastime, with my sister Erika and a friend. We have gone there almost every weekend. It costs roughly $5 for a full cup, but it's self serve so it costs however much you get.
Mine included Mango and Honeydew Softs serve with clementines, kiwis, mango, strawberries, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate chips, and gummy bears with a Blackberry and cherry on top.
This one was Original, Mango and Honeydew soft serve, kiwi, strawberries, a blackberry, a cherry and sprinkles on top
Erika's was original softserve with kiwi, strawverry, pineapple, oreos and fruity pebbles on top
Here are the three of them together. We like to play the game of who's looks the best. What do you think?
Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner
So, I went to PA to visit some friends from PSU, who I went to school with my freshman year. They were having a Pre-Thanksgiving Dinner Potluck. There was so much food that we ran out of places to put it. Eventually we ended up sticking the food on boxes.
I helped to make the Lasagna, because Asian people do not know how to make Lasagna. We kind of winged it and then laughed at each other because there was instructions on the pasta box.
This one is Turkey Lasagna, we ran out of cheese and ingredients because we made two lasagnas, so the top two layers of this one is all mozzarella. This one got really juicy, so at the end, I threw a whole bunch of Mozzarella on top of the cheese that was already on there. It ended up tasting very cheesy, but my friends loved it.
This lasagna is beef. It turned out a lot better than the other one. It turns out separating the meat and ricotta between layers of pasta helps to soak up a lot of the grease and juice from the meat and sauce.
This turkey looks delicious doesn't it? Well, it was very delicious.  There were actually 2 turkeys, but this was the only one I got a picture of. This one was traditionally cooked. By traditional, I mean the American way. There was another one that was cooked Asian Style, and no, I don't know what that means.
Special Chicken. By Special, I mean special chicken the Vietnamese way.
This was one of the desserts. It is Sautéed peaches on a biscuit. The peaches were put in a syrup that was made of tons of sugar, nutmeg, and syrup. The biscuit was Pillsbury flaky biscuit.
